Almost Free!

Almost Free! is a musical project founded by Liam Elion. It consists of original music which has been performed publicly in Sweden and in the US.

The vision for this project is expressed in its name: the music sits on the border between “free jazz” (in the style developed by Ornette Coleman and his contemporaries in the 60s) and more straight-ahead mainstream jazz. The name also alludes to the search for freedom in playing.
